Aeronautical Charting

The AIM Charting Section has the infrastructure, equipment and expertise to provide an aeronautical chart design service.

A full spectrum of design capabilities exist, from conventional non-precision approach charts, precision approach charts, standard arrival and standard departure charts through to GNSS and RNP instrument procedure charts. Furthermore, all charts as defined in ICAO Annex 4 can be provided. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Aerodrome
  • Aerodrome Obstacle Type-A
  • Parking and Docking

In addition to topographical data, WGS-84 survey data (airport and obstacle), AIP, AIP supplement and NOTAM data is incorporated into the design of aeronautical charts.

All the processes are quality controlled to ensure flight safety, and quality assured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
