AVI AFRIQUE Africa Aviation Innovation Summit
Following on the success of the three previous AVI AFRIQUE summits ATNS invited a group of international and local experts, academics and industry decision-makers to contribute to information-sharing in the field of aviation and air navigation services at this year’s AVI AFRIQUE Africa Aviation Innovation Summit 2015.
AVI AFRIQUE provides a platform for aviation industry influencers, innovators and professionals to meet, network and discuss future industry trends and developments in the aviation industry. The Summit encourages real debate and offers a unique mix of keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions focusing on a different theme each year. This year, the Summit focused on innovation as the key to aviation sustainability in Africa.
Our keynote speakers for 2015 included:

- Chairperson of the Domestic Air Services Licensing Council at the Department of Transport, Dr Malindi Neluheni
- CEO, director and shareholder at The Da Vinci Institute Professor Benjamin Anderson
- Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and IT at the University of Pretoria Professor Sunil Maharaj

The expo as well as the Summit will once again be held at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria.
The CSIR is one of the leading scientific and technology research, development and implementation organisations in Africa and is committed to supporting innovation in South Africa to improve national competitiveness in the global economy.
